STRESS-Free Focus

Relying on caffeine to carry out your day? Px gives you a gentle buzz without raising your stress levels like caffeine.

What's the result? You can enjoy multiple cups of coffee throughout the day without fearing the consequences like restlessness or feeling "over-caffeinated".

Sleep MORE SOUNDLY

Did you know the effects of caffeine can last up to 10 hours? That means your mid-day cup could be keeping you up at night.

Px has a shorter half-life than caffeine, allowing you to enjoy the buzz of coffee, without the lasting effects.

KEEP YOUR COFFEE

We know how important your morning routine is. Switching to Px Coffee from regular coffee doesn’t mean you have to give that up (unlike other alternatives).

With Rarebird's Px Coffee, you get to keep your coffee. Experience the same taste, aroma, and feel you look forward to, minus the negative aftermath.

EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS TODAY

SO... What is PX?

We'll skip most of the science and keep it simple:

Your body naturally converts caffeine into Px

Every time you drink a cup of coffee, your body breaks down caffeine into its "metabolites" with the primary one being paraxanthine (Px for short)

Other caffeine metabolites cause side effects

Ever felt more stressed or anxious after your morning cup? How about jittery or "overcaffeinated"? Blame the less-energizing, non-Px metabolites of caffeine.

Px Coffee does the body's work for it

Rarebird built on what your body already does—breaking down caffeine—by removing the metabolites that cause negative side effects. The result is simple: coffee that delivers the energy and focus you (and we) need, minus the downsides.

EVERY SWITCH HAS A STORY

Real, firsthand accounts of how Px Coffee has transformed daily life for those who made the switch

I had to give up drinking coffee about three years ago, when it started causing me chest pains, sweats, and anxiety. It was a daily habit I had picked up as a teenager in order to regulate my mood and energy, so I was less than enthused. For the past three years, I haven’t been able to start my day off on the right foot, and my mood and energy have suffered for it.

I started drinking Rarebird Coffee last month and I cannot say enough good about it. It is every bit as good as regular coffee, just without the negative side effects. It brews the same, tastes the same, and gives me just the right mood and energy lift. I’m so happy to have my morning routine back, and my mental health has improved as a result.

Rarebird also just announced a new dark roast. I’m glad to see the company taking steps to diversify their offerings. I’ll stick with the medium roast, as I’m not a fan of dark roast, but I’d like to see more varieties offered in the future. This is the right direction for the company to head, and everything I’ve read tells me they’re a good company at that. Did you know Rarebird donates 1% of their proceeds to mental health research? I’m glad to have jumped on this bandwagon early, and I’m excited to see where this company goes.

This coffee is absolutely delicious. It also does exactly what they claim it does. No jitters, no anxiety, just calm focus. I have never been able to consume caffeine in the afternoon, but I have had rarebird as late as 6 pm and was able to sleep like a champ. I can’t wait to try it as a cold brew at home. I love it so much I just bought an extra bag for immediate shipment, increased my subscription with extra bags so I can give it to friends and family. As a healthcare professional, I want everyone to know about rarebird!

I’ve always had a problem with abusing coffee and paying the price with poor sleep quality and lack of focus. This rare bird stuff really works. I get to enjoy really good coffee have two or 3 cups and be productive and focused. I bought the dark roast and am enjoy it. Best Flavor for me has been using a pour over and it slowly steep with a paper filter. I’ve been into coffee before there was a Starbucks and really I’m happy to find this rare bird.

Every woman over 40 needs to switch to this coffee alone!! Was looking for alternative that would work with my hormones not against. My night sweats were completely gone after 3 days of switching. My sleep has improved 150%. My anxiety has been manageable. All while still enjoying "coffee" in the morning and still feeling more awake after drinking. The taste is comparable to slow roasted higher end brands of coffee I used to love. Loving the subscription so I dont have to think about ordering and never run out. Also only use glass pour over with metal filter, to cut down on plastic hormone disruptors.

This is a great caffeine alternative. I decided to give Rarebird a try because I was becoming more sensitive to caffeine but still needed a boost to get through the day. I also have high blood pressure and was looking for a change in coffee consumption in order to help keep that in check. Rarebird has been the perfect solution. It gives me the energy boost and focus needed to get through the day without the downsides of feeling jittery and overstimulated. I had gotten to the point where I was loosing productivity due to caffeine but Rarebird has solved that. I also love that I'm able to have a cup in the mid-afternoon and it doesn't affect my sleep. It tastes great too! I highly recommend giving Rarebird a try.

I did not realize how much caffeine affected me until I switched back to caffeinated coffee after running out of Rarebird's px coffee. On my very first cup of caffeinated coffee after drinking only Rarebird for a week or so I felt anxiety / stress in my chest that I had not noticed before. I supposed I had just gotten used to it after 10 years of drinking regular coffee! Needless to say, I will be drinking Rarebird from now on!

I like this coffee a lot. I gave up coffee/caffeine when I changed my diet a few months ago and I felt way better in terms of my sleep and no longer getting headaches. HOWEVER, I missed coffee big time after a month or two - the taste, the emotional support for doing unsavory tasks, as well as the improved focus and alertness. With cleaning up my diet, I became so sensitive to caffeine that having even a little made me feel awful. I tried this coffee as an option and I honestly really like it. It’s good quality coffee, it tastes rich and smooth, not too bitter or acidic at all, and has great aroma. It’s good black, with cream, and blended up bulletproof style. I brew it as a pourover and measure carefully since it’s a little pricier than regular coffee. I do a ratio of 1 gram of coffee grounds to 17 grams of water. The paraxanthine gives that little hit of alertness and focus, but doesn’t make me feel jittery or anxious at all. It also doesn’t seem to affect my sleep and I don’t feel groggy and cranky if I don’t have it, the way I would when I was drinking a lot of regular coffee, nor have I gotten any headaches so far. I’m so happy to have a morning beverage to look forward to again!

I am a coffee snob who had to stop drinking regular caffeinated coffee for health reasons 😭. I tried all the “coffee replacements” and hated them. I was amazed at my first sip of Rarebird! The flavor is outstanding and it gives me better energy and focus than caffeinated coffee- with none of the bad side effects.

My one complaint is the grind size. I prefer using pour over method of brewing and the grind size is a little too fine for this method which makes the brewing time go too long. I hope that a whole bean option or a more coarse grind size made for pour over brewing is on the horizon.
